Outlaw Toy Aussies, we are...
Outlaw Toy Aussies was ...
born in May of 2015, as ASDR Registered Toy Aussies
Both Black or Red Tri, or Blue or Red Merles.
We do have a fair percentage of Blue eyes as well!!
My partner and I had a couple females and a male, all chosen with the traits we want in our dogs. All our Breeders have all been Genetically Tested. This way their puppies will have a clear genetic panel through parentage if the parent is clear. That is good for you the new parents! We also have clientele of breeders who buy from us.
I whelp my puppies in my home. I don’t have an outside building to use. So they really are home grown. None can leave their Mom until 8 weeks, None are born with their eyes open, so nope, we don’t know eye color for a few weeks. My puppies are in the my home on the farm. They start in a large kennel with the door open. free to come and go for food, water, go outside to potty, or just come see the family! The puppies just root around at this point. Eventually when their eyes open the puppies will graduate to a pen.
Old rug down first, Layer of plastic, pen built over the top. By the time were at the last 2-3 weeks where they will come out of their pen to explore the room they’re in. They’re put outside about every 3-4 hours with Mom. Potty is the word to go outside! Eventually they all learn this small gesture, and come running! That is their start to potty training. And the feel of actual grass under their feet!
Of course they are still very young. I put down diapers all over for them to use and they do. Eventually if they be introduced to the outside to potty, play and explore.
Believe me, on cold blizzard days or rainy days. If you don’t want to walk your dog on those days, or get them wet or too cold, the diaper helps you as much as them!
Socialization of our Puppies is Priority!! We want them to know as much as possible before they go off on their own, which is stressful in itself. We want them to be used, to smells, other animals, tile floors, fluffy rugs, as much as possible! And my favorite is the stairs. Very few puppies know what stairs are nor how to approach them. These kids run like a herd of elephants up and down the stairs. Along with socialization they will learn common commands and their Names if we have them. Otherwise they’re all Puppy. Please remember the Aussie is very sensitive. Their loyalty is to you. If you get mad for accidents on the floor, don’t rub their nose in it. Pick them up and put them on a diaper or outside. When they return Praise them!! If you yell and scream, these puppies will become extremely timid!
We pay attention to the breeding, the color, the genetics, the confirmation and so importantly, to their disposition. The first weeks of our babies lives are spent with their Mom’s. They are handled daily by us or family members to get them used to the feel of a human.
Normally we’ll have a Litter Announcement so you know a litter will be available. At any time you can put down a non returnable deposit on the puppy of your choice.
Your new puppies will come with: Dew Claws removed. Tails Docked. Up To Date on all age appropriate vaccinations. Started on potty training as well as human interaction with manners.
